Step 15
Some of the thoughts shared are very interesting. For example how much will libraries bend to allow access to certain things. We may come to a point where all access would be allowed to everything, even things we may feel should not be viewed in the library. And the sad part of this is because we cannot stand over someone's shoulder we may lose this battle because technology will and has allowed customers who are computer savvy to come through the backdoor. The balance of what is valid information needed or wanted by the customer, will have and has already caused discussion about at what point will libraries in some shape or form become censors. For example, now if someone's My Space page has music on it you can download through their page without belonging to ITunes, for example. Aside from all the techno stuff, how will jobs in the libraries continue to change and the more advance we continue to be, what will be the cost to humans. It will be very interesting to see how this all plays out in the future.
